The movement to establish a thriving virtual currency on the Internet hits Chicago this weekend when the North American Bitcoin Conference comes to the McCormick Place South Building Saturday and Sunday. Among the speakers at the conference is Ezra Galston, a senior associate at Chicago Ventures, a leading venture capital firm.
Galston, 29, a former start-up wiz kid, professional poker player and graduate of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, recently explained why the emerging bitcoin economy should be on the radar for all venture capitalists and why Chicago has the potential to be at the center of this movement.
